Homemade Cranberry Sauce
This cranberry sauce will be the new hit of the day! It’s healthy, made without sugar and processed “stuff” and because of the high levels of Vitamin C, you also get an immune boost! Eat up!!
Ingredients
12 ounces fresh cranberries
1 cup water
1 teaspoon orange zest, optional
½ teaspoon cinnamon, optional
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until most of the berries have popped. Mash berries to reach desired chunkiness. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
Refrigerate for 4 hours or until ready to serve.
