Here's Your Miracle Treatment!!
You know that I always say that there is no "miracle pill" but there actually is something that is the closest thing possible to a miracle treatment. Wanna know what it is???
FOOD!! What you put into your body has a direct effect on your body's ability to heal, rejuvenate itself, and repair. Putting in inflammatory "toxic" food such as sugars, white flours, and processed foods not only hinder your body's repair systems, but directly create damage to your individual cells.
I know you've heard this all before...but are you REALLY listening? Are you putting this into practice? And if not, why???
I know that it can sometimes feel quite subtle distinguishing how different food choices make you feel. If you are eating a certain way day after day and just overall feel like crap, then it might be difficult to correlate the way you feel with the foods you are putting into your body. In addition to this, most of us have really sluggish liver function, thyroid function and overall low metabolic and detoxification function.
One of the things you can do to start changing your health, and figuring out what foods are energizing you and which ones are bringing you down, is to eliminate the MAIN offenders. Try it even for a week and you'll feel a difference. Remove the sugars...ALL sugars. Remove the flours, wheat and gluten for a week. See if your memory and brain fog improve. Check out your skin at the end of the week. How does your digestion feel? How about sleep? See what changes.
The second thing you can do is add in more green, leafy, and/or cruciferous vegetables. These will help to accelerate your liver's detoxification function and start getting the built up toxins moving. Drink plenty of water to flush out your kidneys and get even more toxins removed from your bloodstream.
